Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Evening, March 21, 1893 Daniel Lightner Died at his home in Gaysport yesterday at noon, aged 53 years. He is survived by a wife and twelve children. Mr. Lightner was the keeper of No. 1 furnace of the Cambria Iron company for many years. He had an honorable war record, serving in company C, Fifty-third regiment Pennsylvania infantry, and he was also a member of Colonel Wm. G. Murray post No. 39, Grand Army of the Republic. The funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and the remains will be interred with the honors of war. Interment in the Lutheran cemetery at Hollidaysburg.
