LILLY

  Mrs. Ruth Lilly of 204 East Fifth avenue, wife of Edward Lilly, died 
on Saturday morning at the Mercy hospital of influenza after a short 
illness.  She was born in this city on Jan. 15, 1898.  She was a member 
of the Church of the Brethren.  Surviving are the mother, Mrs. Amanda 
Weaver of this city, the husband and two children, Vernice and the 5-
day-old infant, and the following brothers: Joseph Royer, in France; 
Herbert Royer of Albany, N.Y., and Jacob Royer of Ohio and one sister, 
Annie Royer of this city.  The funeral will be held this afternoon with 
interment in Rose Hill cemetery.
