The deceased was not considered dangerously ill until a few hours before her death. The King of Terrors came unexpectedly, but found her ready to depart, for "her life was hid with Christ in God." Tender and true, amid all the relations of life, she has left a large number of friends who mourn her decease and sympathize deeply with her bereaved husband, and motherless boy, in their sore affliction. After suitable religious services, at her husband's residence, her remains were conveyed to Pattonville, where her former Pastor preached an appropriate funeral sermon, and then consigned her body to its last earthly resting place, in the cemetery of that place, in full hope of a glorious resurrection at the last day. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord." - C Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Saturday, January 12, 1867, page 3
