Lingenfelter, son of John C. and Rachel, (deceased) Lingenfelter died at the Nason hospital yesterday morning of pneumonia following an attack of influenza. He was born in Freedom township on July 4, 1884, and for the past several years had resided at Claysburg, where she [sic] was employed by the Standard Refractories company. Last week it was found that the entire family was suffering from pneumonia and they were removed to the Nason hospital at Roaring Spring, where the father died. He is survived by his father, his wife and the following children: Tillie, aged 10; Hester, aged 8; Ester, 7; John, 5; Elizabeth, 4, and the baby, James, not yet 2 years old. All are at the hospital and several of the children are in a rather serious condition. He is also survived by two brothers and three sisters, who reside with their father, south of East Freedom.
