Lingenfelter, one of Altoona's oldest salesmen, died at 12:10 o'clock yesterday noon, or euremic poisoning, at his home, 213 Second avenue. He had been in ill health for the past six weeks. Mr. Lingenfelter was born at East Freedom, January 3, 1852, and early in life came to this city, where he resided ever since. For many years he was a salesman with several of the leading wholesale produce merchants, and for the past several years represented several big houses at Baltimore, Md. He is survived by his wife, who before marriage was Miss Josephine Fyler, of this city, and two children, Mrs. Cora Rudacille and C. A. Lingenfelter, both of this city. Mr. Lingenfelter was a member of the Christ Reformed church and the George R. McFarlane lodge of Odd Fellows, No. 279. Two brothers, William and Edward, and two sisters, Mrs. Lucinda Lingenfelter and Mrs. Joseph Vogt, all of this city, also survive. The funeral will be held on Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the house, in charge of Rev. Oswin S. Frantz, pastor of Christ Reformed church. Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery.
