Albert Lingenfelter, a well known resident of the Eighth ward, died at his home 523 Third avenue, of cancer. He had been ailing for several weeks. Deceased was born in Greenfield township, January 21, 1841, and had been a resident of this city for a number of years. He was married January 24, 1867, to Mary A. Dively, who preceded him to the grave May 17, 1897. He was a member of Trinity Reformed church. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Gertrude Kauffman, of Pittsburg; Mrs. George Everhart, Mrs. Jacob Kiser, of Altoona; Mrs. Margaret Downes, Mrs. Annie Downes, Mrs. Sarah Rose, of Altoona; Mrs. Ellen Hopfer, of Portage; Mrs. Louise Gunsman, of East Freedom, and Mrs. Alice Fish, of Philipsburg. Funeral arrangements later. Morning Tribune, Tuesday, October 3, 1899 FUNERAL NOTICE. The funeral of the late J. Alfred Lingenfelter will take place this afternoon. It will leave the family residence, 523 Third avenue, at 2 o'clock and proceed to Trinity Reformed church where the services will be held Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.
