Verna Lingenfelter, the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lingenfelter, of 1922 Fifth avenue to die within two days, died yesterday morning at 6.05 o'clock, death in both cases being due to influenza. Dorothy, who died Christmas eve, was born on June 9, 1906, in this city. The sister, Verna, was born on Jan. 23, 1905. Both attended the Franklin school and the Methodist Sunday school. Surviving are the parents, and three brothers, Paul of Ohio, Kenneth and Lloyd, both at home. The father and mother, as well as the two surviving children, were stricken with the illness, the father being able to leave the house for the first time on Christmas. The mother had recovered sufficiently to be about the home yesterday. A double funeral will be held for the two children this morning. Interment will be made in the Carson valley cemetery.
