All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ FRANK LODICK GAVE LIFE SEPTEMBER 12 A Tyrone Mother Receives Sad News of Son's Death in Army in France Word was received by Mrs. Helen Lodick, of 228 East Eleventh street, that her son, Private Frank Lodick, had made the supreme sacrifice on the fields of France September 12, 1918. The young man was employed by the Youngstown, O., Steel and Tube company at the outbreak of the war and shortly after enlisted with the 60th infantry at Gettysburg, Pa. After completing his training he was sent to France where he made the supreme sacrifice in September. Frank Lodick was a son of Mrs. Helen Lodick, of Tyrone and was born at Birmingham in 1890. He is survived by his mother and the following brothers and sisters: Michael, of Tyrone; Joseph, of Pemberton; George, an employe of the West Virginia Pulp and Paper company; John, at home; Mrs. George Bozish and Mrs. Matthew Devolich, of Pemberton.
