Long, 90 of Claysburg, died yesterday at 6:05 A.M. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Zerelda Greenwood, where he had resided for the past 13 years. Mr. Long was born at Blue Knob Nov. 22, 1870, a son of Jeremiah and Sara (Burger) Long, and married to Martha Corl Aug. 11, 1892, in East Freedom by the Rev. Comley. Surviving are his wife and six children, Mrs. Rebecca Black of Cross Keys, Jere of Blue Knob, Torrence of Duncansville, Mrs. Greenwood, Mrs. Alma Haas of West Branch Michigan, and Mrs. Lorraine Claar of East Freedom; 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, a brother and sister, Ira F. of Lakemont and Mrs. Edna Mobley of Los Angles, Cal. He engaged in farming in the Blue Knob area until 1937 and then moved to Roaring Spring RD, where he retired in 1947, moving to Claysburg. He was a life member of the Mt. Moriah Brethren Church of Blue Knob but had attended the Altoona Bible Church. LONG - Friends will be received in the Leslie Funeral Home, Claysburg from 6 P.M. tomorrow until 11 A.M.
