Mrs. Hester Long died at her home in Grazierville yesterday morning at 12:10 o'clock, of cancer of the head, from which she had been ailing for the past four years. Her maiden name was Hester Hall. She was born at Burnt Cabins, Fulton county, October 20, 1821, and was twice married. She is survived by the following children: John P. Stewart of Pemberton quarries, Mrs. Catharine Green of Grazierville, Mrs. Annie Ream of Altoona, Mrs. John Denny of Osceola Mills, Mrs. Walter Newman of Canton (O.), and Charles M. Long at home. The remains were placed on seashore express this morning and taken to Mt. Union and from thence conveyed to Burnt Cabins, where interment will take place this afternoon in the cemetery at that place.
