She was born in Altoona on May 16, 1892, a daughter of Frank B. and Jennie (Pressel) Ferry, and in April 1912 in Bedford County married John R. Longenecker, who died Sept. 10, 1967. Surviving are a daughter and son, Mrs. Rayota Shriner of Newbery, S.C., and David R. of Roaring Spring RD; four grandchildren and three brothers, Elwood and Orlo of New Enterprise and Park of Hollidaysburg. Mrs. Longenecker was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and Chapter 121, OES, Roaring Spring. Friends will be received in the Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday and after 10 a.m. Sunday.
