Earnest Ray Loose, son of John and Cora Loose, died at his parents' home on East Second street, Williamsburg, at 7.40 o'clock Thursday morning of influenza, after a week's illness. He was born at Martinsburg on Aug. 21, 1904, being aged at time of death 14 years, 2 months and 10 days. He was an attendant of the Williamsburg Brethren Sunday school and a pupil in the 5th [sic] grade of the Williamsburg public schools. He is survived by his parents, and by one brother and three sisters, as follows: W. E. Loose of Camp Lee, Va., Mrs. Frank Nash of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. H. E. Runyeon of Altoona and Marie, at home. Private funeral services will be held at his late home in Williamsburg this afternoon at 3 o'clock, in charge of Rev. W. H. Holsinger, pastor of the Brethren church. The interment will be made in the Williamsburg Presbyterian cemetery. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Saturday Morning, November 2, 1918
