MISS ELIZABETH LOOSE

  At 8:30 o'clock a.m. Thursday morning, March 1, at the home of Jacob, 
R achael and Katie Loose, Henrietta, Miss Elizabeth Loose departed this 
life.  Death was due to pneumonia and old age.  She was born September 
20, 1837, and was the daughter of William and Barbara Benner Loose. 
Deceased was the last one of a family of nine children.  Not being 
married she made her home with her brother, William B. Loose and 
family. 
  Funeral services were held on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in the 
Church of God.  Services conducted by her pastor, Rev. A. G. Herr of 
Martinsburg.  Her age was 77 years, 5 months and 21 days.  Interment in 
the Nicodemus cemetery.
