Mr. Loucks was working in the addition to the home of L. B. Bland, in company with his brother, Samuel, also widely known as a plasterer. At noon he complained of not being well and visited a physician, returning to work a little later. About 3 o'clock he was stricken, and although he was hurried to his home on North Eleventh street in an auto, death ensured immediately on arrival. His sister, Mrs. Lena McDonald, of Philadelphia, had planned a pleasant surprise for her brothers and was met by other relatives at 2:40. She was taken to the home of Samuel Loucks and was expecting a joyous meeting after their day's work was done. Instead, a little later came the sad tidings. Mr. Loucks is survived by his wife and the following children: Orville, Mrs. Mary Caswell, Mrs. Josephine Gummo and Fred, all of Bellwood; Mrs. Dora Young of Ohio; Miss Grace and Ernest, of Saxton; also by these brothers and sisters: Samuel, of Bellwood; Mrs. Lena McDonald, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Troutwine and Mrs. Kipple, of Marietta; Clayton, of Maystown. The funeral cortege will leave the home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and go to the United Brethren church at Bellwood for service. Interment in Logan Valley cemetery.
