Mrs. Love had been in failing health the past several years with nuocarditis [sic], her condition gradually growing worse until she slipped out of this life last evening. Mrs. Mary McKee Love was a daughter of the late Dr. James and Susan Beck McKee. She was born at Stormstown, Centre county, Mar. 24, 1859. On June 6, 1883, at Bellefonte she was united in marriage with Harry C. Love, who preceded her in death, May 29, 1896. She resided in Bellefonte when a young girl, but immediately after her marriage, she moved to Tyrone and for more than a half century had been one of Tyrone's esteemed and respected citizens. Surviving her passing are one daughter, Mrs. Sue L. Woodbridge, of Tyrone and one son, Robert A. Love of New York City. Three children, Helen C., James M., and Jane G., also preceded her in death. No earthy record can do justice to the years she so consistently lived. Her loyalty to her home and many friends is unquestioned. Life is a matter of quality not quantity, and the beautiful, quiet life she lived has not been in vain. Her conscientious devotion to all that was best in life will live long in the memory of those who had the pleasure of her acquaintance. Mrs. Love was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church, and a member of the different civic organizations of the town. Funeral services will be held at the home on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Elmer F. Ilgenfritz. Interment in Eastlawn Cemetery.
