LOVE Formerly of this city, residing at 2616 West Chestnut avenue, but for the past several years living at Warriors Mark following his retirement from the Pennsylvania railroad service, died at 6 o'clock this morning at the Altoona hospital. Death was due to pneumonia. The deceased was born at Pennsylvania Furnace, Feb. 9, 1865, a son of John and Elizabeth (Floyd) Love, both deceased. He retired from the service of the Pennsy in November of 1934 as a machinist in the East Altoona roundhouse. He attended the Calvary Baptist church in this city. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rose (Owen) Love and four children, Joseph E. and Fred F. Love both of this city, Major Ralph F. Love of Laramie, Wyo., and Maude L. Wolfe of Harrisburg. There are five sisters, Mrs. Ellie Saxon and Mrs. Margaret (Leonard) Bonsil, both of Tyrone; Mrs. Laura Stewart of Birmingham. Pa.; Mrs. Mile McCormick of this city and Mrs. Nora Ceunges of Johnstown. Five grandchildren also survive. The deceased was a member of the Chicalacamoose tribe of the Improved Order of Red Men. The remains may be viewed at the home of a son, Joseph E. Love of 2601 Lark/Park avenue Hileman Heights, after 6 o'clock this evening. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., June 1, 1937
