Jacob Harrison Lowe, a civil war veteran and a well known resident of the Twelfth ward, died at his home, 2908 Oak avenue, at 12.20 o'clock yesterday morning of chronic valvular heart disease, after a brief illness. He was born in Perry county, April 17, 1840. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Miss Florence and Mrs. Jennie Budde both of this city, one brother, Jerry of Liverpool and a sister, Mrs. Sarah Cook, of Duncannon. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at the First Brethren church and at 11.40 the remains will be shipped to Duncannon for burial.
