Lowe, better known as "Phil. Lowe," died at Bedford Springs yesterday morning at 5 o'clock, whither he had gone some weeks since for the benefit of his health. Mr. Lowe, we learn, entered the service of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company in 1852, and has been a passenger engineer since 1854. That he was a careful and excellent man his long and faithful services will attest. He was a gentleman that was much respected among all classes, and his death will send a pang of sorrow to a large circle of friends. His ailment was Bright's disease. His remains will be taken to Harrisburg to-morrow on day express, for interment, and will be consigned to their last resting place immediately after the arrival of the train to that city.
