LOWE Died at 10.30 o'clock Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Martin of 519 Crawford avenue, after an illness of several weeks of gangrene of the foot. Mrs. Lowe was born at Newry, May 17, 1835, being a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius McConnell, and had resided in Blair county the greater part of her life. She was married to Cyrus B. Lowe by Rev. Father James Bradley of Newry sixty-five years ago. Her husband was a conductor on the Middle Division of the Pennsylvania railroad and lost his life in a railroad accident at Harrisburg on Dec 2, 1893. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic church, of the Altar society and of the Sacred Heart league. She is survived by three sons and three daughters, as follows: Mrs. Martha C. Martin of Central City, Neb., William J. of Cincinnati, Mrs. A. W. Moffit of Juniata Park and Charles L., John C. and Mrs. Lena Martin of Altoona; one sister, Mrs. Eliza McNamara of Latrobe and one brother, Henry McConnell of Kane, Pa. She also leaves thirty-two grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held with requiem mass at St. Mark's church at 9 o'clock on Wednesday morning, followed by interment in St. John's cemetery.
