Lucas, 42, of RD 5, Tyrone died Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at 8:59 p.m. at the Tyrone Hospital Emergency Room. He was born January 14, 1962 in Tyrone, a son of Lynn Drake and Janice Lucas. On August 29, 1981, he married Christine D. Boughamer. Surviving is his wife, a daughter Korrin, a student at IUP, a son Tyler at home, his parents of Tyrone, a sister, Crystal Seltzer and husband Stephen of Tyrone and four nieces and a nephew. Mr. Lucas was Assistant Vice President and Commercial Services Consultant for M & T Bank, Altoona for the past 14 years. He was previously employed at Ward Trucking, Altoona as a computer operator for four years. He was a 1980 graduate of Tyrone Area High School, received an Associate degree in Communications from the Air Force and a Banking degree from Wisconsin State University in 1997. He was a member of the Tyrone Alliance Church, Bellwood Lions Club and a charter member of the Terry Fike Hunting Club, Sinking Valley. In addition, he was secretary for the Tyrone Sportsman Association where he was a two time winner of the big buck contest. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving as a staff sergeant from 1980-1986 in Alaska. Kevin was an avid hunter and enjoyed horseback riding with his daughter. He rode with his son in the MS 150 Bicycle race for the past several years and had been a seventh grade basketball coach for his team in the Bellwood leagues. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 15, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Tyrone Alliance Church with Pastor Tim Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Burket Cemetery, Warriors Mark Twp. Friends will be received at the Feller Memorial Home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
