Mines, July 30. - Isaac Milroy Lykens died yesterday morning at 8:20 o'clock at his home, of tubercular trouble. He was born February 13, 1885, at this place, and was the son of Isaac and Elizabeth Lykens. On August 15, 1913, he was married to Miss Leonelda Dawson, of Cumberland, Md., and is survived by his wife, parents and the following brothers and sisters: Samuel A., Andrew F. and Mrs. Ollie McAteer, all of Altoona; J. D. Chester, of Pittsburg; Mrs. Tessie O. Miller, of Springfield, Va., and Daniel J. at home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Mines Methodist Episcopal church, conducted by Rev. Dr. Edgar R. Heckman, of Altoona. Interment will be made in the Royer cemetery. Previous to his illness Mr. Lykens was employed as sexton at the First Methodist Episcopal church, Altoona. He was a good, Christian gentleman.
