E. and Nettie S. Lykens, of 1309 Spruce street, died at his home at 12.10 o'clock noon yesterday, after an illness of two weeks' duration. He became ill at work two weeks ago today, being a victim of Spanish influenza. He later contracted pneumonia, but was well nigh recovering from that when he was stricken with meningitis, from which he suffered until death relieved him. The young man was born at Oremenia, 24 years ago on May 11 last, and had resided most of his life in Hollidaysburg. He was an electrician, working with his father in the East Hollidaysburg shops of the Pennsylvania railroad. He was never married. He is survived, besides his parents, by two sisters, Misses Grace and Pauline, both at home. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and Sunday school. Funeral services will be conducted at the late home tomorrow afternoon, at 2 o'clock, and will be public; interment in Rose Hill cemetery, Altoona.
