Allegheny St., Martinsburg, a native of Tyrone, died unexpectedly at her home at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday. She was born at Tyrone, Nov. 1, 1891, a daughter of William H. and Annie R. Kling Miller. She was married to E. H. Lykens at Warriors Mark. Sept. 20, 1922. Surviving are the husband and two daughters, Mrs. Louise A. Stoudnour, Saxton, and Mrs. Janet I. Kreider, Martinsburg; six grandchildren and a brother, Oscar C. Miller, St. Petersburg, Fla. She was educated in the Tyrone public schools and was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Martinsburg where she had been a longtime member of the Sunday School and the Standing Together Bible Class and the Lutheran Church Women. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a director of the Red Cross in Martinsburg until two years ago. She was a member of the Nason Hospital Auxiliary. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Martinsburg, in charge of the Rev. Gerald E. Moorhead. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg. Friends will be received at the Miller & Bolger Funeral Home, Martinsburg, until noon on Tuesday. Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., Monday, April 22, 1963
