DEATHS OF A DAY

MRS. ELLEN LYNN.

Mrs. Ellen Lynn, a resident of Altoona for more than thirty years,
died at 4.50 o'clock yesterday morning at her home, 1320 Eighth
avenue, of asthma and diseases incident to old age.  She was born in
Ireland 79 years ago, coming to this country when a child.  She was
married sixty two years ago to Charles Lynn of Bellefonte.  For
thirty-one years the couple made their home in Stormstown, Centre
county, later removing to Altoona.  Mr. Lynn died twenty-three years
ago.  Two daughters survive, Mrs. Margaret Gearhart, of Philadelphia,
and Mary Lynn, at home.  She was a member of the Mount Carmel Catholic
church.  The funeral will leave the house at 8.30 Monday morning,
proceeding to the Mount Carmel church, where mass will be celebrated
at 9 o'clock.  Interment will be made in St. John's cemetery.
