He was a son of Solomon and Nancy Stouffer Lynn deceased, and was born near Entriken, Huntingdon county, February 20, 1860, and was aged 62 years, 3 months and 29 days. He was married June 24, 1883, to Margaret Anna Long, at Hollidaysburg, by the Rev. E. Kellinger, pastor of the Lutheran church. He is survived by his wife and these children: Mrs. Bessie Gosnell, of Larke; William, of Shellytown; Roy and Chalmer, of Williamsburg, and by these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Nancy Bassler, and Mary Lynn, of Mines; David, of Shellytown; William H. and Mrs. Emma Steele, of Roaring Spring. The deceased followed the business of farming most of his life time, and lived on various farms in Morrison's Cove. He was a man of frugal and industrious habits, and was for many years a member of the Reformed church at Beavertown. The funeral took place at 1.30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, in charge of undertaker A. K. Bechtel. The service was held at the house, conducted by his pastor, Rev. L. G. Beers, of Martinsburg, and Rev. C. L. Nonemaker, of Lakemont, pastor of the Church of God. Interment in the Presbyterian cemetery at Williamsburg. Martinsburg Herald, June 30, 1922
