LYTLE 70, of 2709 Broadway, Juniata, died at 11:35 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1980, at his home, following an extended illness. Mr. Lytle retired as district manager of the Nobil Shoe Co., Akron, Ohio, and was formerly employed in the shoe department of Gables for a number of years. He was born Aug. 28, 1910, in Altoona, the son of Harvey O. and Nellie (Snyder) Lytle, and Aug. 26, 1940, in Altoona, married M. Lucille Duncan. Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Martino and Mrs. Peggy Hoover of Pittsburgh, five grandchildren and a brother, Jack of Minneapolis, Minn. A brother, Harvey, died Dec. 10, 1980. Mr. Lytle was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. He was a 1928 graduate of Altoona High School. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Stevens Mortuary. LYTLE - The funeral of Fred S. Lytle of 2709 Broadway, Juniata, will be held with a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Therese Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Stevens Mortuary, 1421 8th Ave., where a wake service will be at 8 p.m. Friday.
