MacARTHUR Of 1202 Fourteenth avenue, a salesman for the Rothert company for thirty-three years, died yesterday noon at his home of a heart ailment after having been ill since last fall. He was born in July 31, 1877, in Philadelphia, a son of Thomas W. and Emily (Camp) MacArthur, and on June 26, 1905, married Miss Rebecca German, who died December 31, 1932. He earlier had been employed in the cabinet shop of the Altoona works. Surviving are three brothers and three sisters, John C., Thomas W. and D. R. MacArthur, Mrs. E. Marguerite Beasom and Mrs. Ella R. Campbell, all of the city, and Mrs. Alice B. Meinhart of Lebanon. Mr. MacArthur was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal church. Mr. MacArthur for a number of years had been advertising manager for the Rothert store, and was widely known among the business people of the city. Friends are being received at the Axe funeral home.
