MAEDER.

  J. Frederick Maeder of 821 Fifth avenue, died at 7.30 last evening of 
influenza and heart trouble.  He was born in Germany, Feb. 25, 1842, 
and was aged 76 years.  He is survived by his widow and eight children 
as follows: E. F. of Juniata, G. A., H. L., W. H., all of Altoona; Fred 
O., in France; Anna E., Mrs. H. Leidy and Mrs. W. C. Watts, all of this 
city.  The funeral arrangements will be made later.

FUNERAL NOTICE

  Funeral services of J. Frederick Maeder will be held from his late 
home at 821 Fifth avenue, at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon and burial 
will be made in Rose Hill cemetery.
