MRS. ANNA J. MAINES,

Wife of Isaac Maines, died of Bright's disease, Sunday morning at 6:30, 
at her residence, 2018 Fourth avenue.  She was born in Blair county 
October 10 [16?], 1837, and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church.  
Besides her husband she is survived by seven children: Wallace E. of 
Danville, Ind., John H., Alexander P., Daniel E., Charles E., William 
T. and Margaret H., all of this city, as well as one brother, Peter 
Hart, and six grandchildren.  Funeral services will be conducted 
Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock in the Dunkard church, Carson valley.  
Interment will be made in Carson Valley cemetery.  The remains can be 
viewed at the residence on Tuesday from 2 until 9 p.m.
