WALLACE EUGENE MAINES
 
Of 1212 Eighteenth street, janitor at the Davis apartment building, 
died at the Altoona hospital yesterday at 11:05 am.  He was born in 
Altoona on October 1, 1872, a son of Isaac and Anna R. (Hart) Maines.  
He spent twenty-one years with the Merchant Marines during his earlier 
life.  Surviving is a brother, Charles E. Maines of Altoona, and a 
number of nieces and nephews.  Mr. Maines was of the Lutheran faith.  
Friends will be received at the N. A. Stevens mortuary after 7 p.m. 
today
 
MAINES - Funeral services for Wallace Eugene Maines, 1212 Eighteenth 
street will be held from the Stevens Memorial Chapel, Wednesday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. Joseph M. Niasley.  Interment 
at Carson Valley cemetery.  Friends will be received at the N. A. 
Stevens mortuary after 7 p.m. today.
