DIED.

MAJOR - On February 16, Joseph A. Major, aged 61 years and 11 months.
  The funeral will take place from his late residence on Seventh avenue and 
Twelfth street, on Tuesday at 1 1/2 o'clock.  Taken to Hollidaysburg on the 
2:40 train.  Friends and neighbors are invited to attend.

OBITUARY.

  Mr. Joseph Major, a well-known citizen, formerly of Lewistown, died Saturday 
morning of neuralgia of the heart.  His funeral will take place from his late 
residence, corner Seventh avenue and Twelfth street, Tuesday afternoon at 1 1/2 
o'clock.  Interment at Hollidaysburg.

  We regret to learn of the death of Joseph Major, who was formerly a citizen of 
this place.  The remains will be interred in the Presbyterian cemetery, near 
this place, this afternoon.
