DANIEL MALADY

Retired employee of the PRR in the Juniata shops died at 5:45 o'clock 
this morning at Mercy Hospital where he was a patient for the past six 
weeks.  He suffered from a complication of ailments.  The family home 
is at 2429 Beale Avenue.  Mr. Malady was born in Altoona Jan. 19, 1870 
and he entered the services of the company in 1887 serving as a 
laborer, carpenter and boilermaker and he was retired in 1935 after 39 
years of service.  He was married in Altoona to Anna M. Brandt.  
Surviving is one son, Kenneth of Altoona, six grandchildren and one 
great grandchild along with several nieces and nephews.  He was a 
member of Mt. Carmel Church.  Friends will be received at the N. A. 
Stevens Mortuary after 7 p.m. this evening.
