He was born December 28, 1948 in Altoona, Pa. the son of Bernard P. and Lillian C. (Confer) Mallon. He was married March 17, 1990 at St. John's Church in Sinking Valley to Pamela Brandon. He is survived by his wife, a daughter Nicole Lynn Mallon and a step- son William C. Parson and his fiancee Serafina Musser at home, two sons from a former marriage, Kristian "Jaime" Mallon and his wife Mickey of Tipton and Justin Travis Mallon and his wife Lisa of Tyrone, four granddaughters and one step-granddaughter, his mother Lillian Mallon at Moran's Home in Bellwood, two aunts Betty Confer of Sinking Valley and Gloria Mallon of Duncansville and a mother-in-law Ruth Brandon of Pleasantville. He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church and had served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era. He was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School in 1967. A member of the Allegheny Mini-Tractor Pullers of Sinking Valley and was a dedicated volunteer at the Annual Sinking Valley Farm Fair. He was a truck driver for the past eight and a half years at Renaissance Nutrition, Inc. of Roaring Spring and was previously employed at Hoovers B&D Acres from 1985 to 1993. Funeral services and Flag Presentation will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at 2 p.m. at the St. John's Lutheran Church, Sinking Valley with Rev. Heather Culuris officiating. Friends will be received at the St. John's Church from noon until 2 p.m. Wednesday. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be offered to the St. John's Lutheran Church c/o Betty Confer, Sec., R.D. 1 Box 334, Tyrone, Pa 16686. Arrangements were by the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone.
