Charles Maloy, aged 78, of 2012 Ninth avenue, died at the Altoona hospital last evening at 10:10 o'clock from a complication of diseases. He was admitted to the institution September 22. He is survived by a wife and one son, both residing in this city. The body is being held in the hospital morgue until this morning, when it will be turned over to an undertaker to be prepared for burial. Charles Malloy, of 2512 Ninth avenue, and whose death was noted in the Tribune yesterday, was born in Virginia, April 19, 1839, and resided in Altoona forty years. He was employed by the Pennsy. He was wedded to Miss Ellen Wise, who survives with two daughters, Mrs. Kate Kearney, Pittsburg, and Mrs. Lillie Brislin, Camden, N.J., and a son, Walter Malloy, of this city. Public funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the home of the son, 310 Chestnut avenue, followed by private burial in Rose Hill cemetery.
