HOLLIDAYSBURG HAPPENINGS.

  Helen, an interesting daughter of Mr. Frank Malone, aged 10 years, 
died on Saturday evening of scarlet fever.  The deceased was a bright 
scholar in Miss Lucy Young's room and we are informed was at school in 
apparent good health on Wednesday last.  On Thursday she took the 
dreaded disease, on Saturday she died and on Monday morning she will be 
laid in the cold and silent grave.  Yea, truly, in the midst of life we 
are in death.
