MANNION Husband of Ruth (Filer) Mannion, died at Jefferson hospital, Philadelphia, yesterday morning at 5 o'clock after an extended illness. He was born in Carrolltown on Oct. 31, 1893, a son of Martin and Annie (Zern) Mannion. Mr. Mannion was prominent in the barbering trade in Altoona all his life. He went to Florida three years ago for his health and returned to Philadelphia last year. Surviving are his wife and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. H. M. Gooderham, Johnstown; Mrs. James Leahey and Mrs. Mary A. Burgoon, Altoona; and Jacob and Henry Mannion, Altoona. A son, Charles (Sparrow) Mannion, died April 20, 1933. While living in Altoona, Mr. Mannion was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic church, Moose, Eagles and the barber's union. The body is being brought to Altoona and friends will be received at the N. A. Stevens mortuary after 10 o'clock Saturday morning. MANNION - The funeral of George E. Mannion, former Altoonan, will be held Monday morning with requiem mass at 9 o'clock in Sacred Heart church. Interment in Calvary cemetery. Friends will be received at the N. A.
