TYRONE TOPICS.

  Mrs. Alice Mara, wife of Michael Mara, of Norwich, Conn., died at the 
home of her sisters, Misses Mary and Anna Gallagher, 1119 North 
Washington avenue, Monday morning at 3.20 o'clock, after a lengthened 
illness of cancer.  The deceased was a daughter of Cornelius and Alice 
Gallagher, both deceased, and was born in Tyrone, June 29, 1864, being 
aged at death 35 years, 7 months and 7 days.  She is survived by her 
husband and three children, viz: Annie, James and John Mara; also two 
sisters, Mary and Anna Gallagher, of this place, survive her.  Funeral 
services were held in St. Matthew's Catholic church yesterday morning, 
Rev. T. W. Rosensteel conducting requiem mass.  Interment in Oak Grove 
cemetery.
