MARKER Of 845 17th St., died at 9.30 a.m. yesterday in the Altoona Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Roaring Spring, a son of David and Jeannette (Kyler) Marker, and married Margaret Hendricks. Surviving are his wife, two children, Mrs. Mary E. Burke and John J. of Johnstown; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Reynolds of Roaring Spring, Mrs. Irene Clair of Canan Station and Mrs. Harriet Shaw of McKee. He was a life member of the Frohsinn Singing Society and had operated the St. James Hotel for 39 years. Friends will be received in the Bigelow Funeral Home after 7.30 p.m. today.
