MARKEY Well known Logan township citizen, residing at 5238 Kissel avenue, died last night at 11.30 o'clock, aged 87. He was a son of Crist and Christine (Hainley) Markey and was born in Frankstown. Mr. Markey was widely known as a constable of Logan township and for many years he served in this capacity. On many occasions he had charge of jurors at the Hollidaysburg courthouse. His wife died a number of years ago. One son, John Markey of Pittsburgh, survives, along with two brothers, Crist R. and George Markey, both of Sylvan Hills. Friends will be received at the N. A. Stevens mortuary after 7 o'clock this evening. MARKEY - Funeral services for Jacob L. Markey of 5238 Kissel avenue will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock at the Stevens memorial chapel.
