MRS. ROSE ANN MARKEY

Widow of George O. Markey, died Sunday night at 10.25 o'clock at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. May Frances McMullen of Sylvan Hills, 
Hollidaysburg, after an illness of three weeks. She was born in 
Washington, D.C., Sept. 3, 1863, a daughter of Michael and Sophia 
Hanley. Surviving are two sons and one daughter, David E. Markey of 
Sylvan Hills, Harry Markey of Altoona and Mrs. McMullen; four 
grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-
grandchildren. Mrs. Markey was a member of the Church of God of 
Lakemont. Friends will be received at the Wolf funeral home, 
Hollidaysburg, after 7 o'clock this evening.
