MRS. RACHAEL MARKS

Of Lakemont, mother of William C. Marks of 224 Front street, Lakemont, 
died at the home of the son at 6.45 o'clock this morning of cirrhosis 
of the liver, after an extended illness.  She was born in Altoona June 
20, 1852, and was a member of the St. John's pro-cathedral.  Surviving 
are four children, William C. Marks of Lakemont, Arnold Marks of 
Altoona, Mrs. A. C. Lindsey of South Lakemont and Mrs. H. J. Sandrus of 
South Altoona; also eight grandchildren and the following brothers and 
sisters: Joseph Singer of Altoona, Theodore Singer of Sunbury, William 
Singer of Erie, Mrs. Anna Quinn of Renovo and Miss Barbara Singer of 
Altoona.  The funeral will be held on Saturday morning at 9 o'clock 
with requiem mass at St. John's pro-cathedral.  Interment will be made 
in the St. Mary's cemetery.
