All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ ROBERT MARLETT Robert Lawrence Marlett, 1431 Eighth avenue, Juniata, a veteran of the Civil war, died at his home at 8 p.m. yesterday after a few days' illness of apoplexy. He served two enlistments in the Civil war, serving as a private in company I, 54th regiment, Pennsylvania infantry. Surviving are four sons, William and Albert of Altoona; George, of Portage, and Edward, of Monongahela City, and two daughters, Mrs. Mary Hart, and Mrs. Gertrude Edwards, both of Altoona. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church, East Juniata, and the G. A. R., No. 468. Funeral services will be conducted at the home at 2 p.m. tomorrow, in charge of the Rev. H. W. Bender, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church. Interment will be made in Greenwood cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Wednesday, January 18, 1928
