He was born July 26, 1891, at Martinsburg, R.D. 1, the son of John and Hanna (Cartwright) Marsden and was married to Katie Burns May 22, 1919. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Betty Lou, at home and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Annie Biddle, of Cleveland, O., Mrs. Pearl Ainsworth, Mrs. Mae Wierick and William, all of Altoona, Mrs. Etta Zeigler of St. Clairsville and Howard of Roaring Spring. Mr. Marsden was a member of the Trinity Methodist church, Roaring Spring, the Men's Bible class and the Roaring Spring Fire company. Friends will be received at the home.
