Martin and a member of the first family to reside in Juniata, died at her home, 906 Third avenue, Juniata, at 11.05 o'clock last night of a complication of diseases after a short illness. She was born on March 4, 1860, at Barree forge, but had resided in Juniata practically all her life. Surviving are three sons, W. R. Martin of Juniata, now a patient at the Naval hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y., A. W. Martin, at home, and G. N. Martin of Beverly Hills, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Fred C. Fink of Juniata; one step-daughter, Mrs. H. L. Holland of Mountaindale; one brother, William A. Wharton of Harrisburg, one half-brother, Harry T. Heller of the city, and one half-sister, Mrs. Robert R. Bain of Juniata, eleven grandchildren and several great- grandchildren. Mrs. Martin was a member of the Juniata Methodist church and G. A.
