He had not been in good health for several weeks. Deceased was born at Kenneth [sic] Square, Chester county, on September 17, 1859, and came to Altoona with his parents in 1861 and had since resided here. He entered the service of the Pennsylvania Railroad company in 1882 and was well known among the shopmen. He was a member of the Church of God and the P.R.R. Relief association. He is survived by his wife and two children, Denver and Mary, both at home. He is also survived by one brother, Charles W. Mason, of Juniata county. The funeral arrangements have not been completed and will be announced later. Altoona Tribune, Friday, January 17, 1919, page 10 FUNERAL NOTICE. Funeral services for the late John W.
