She suffered for two years. She was born in Blair township on May 4, 1873, and was the daughter of Rev. Charles W. Garber of Martinsburg, R.D. 2. She removed to Williamsport in 1892, where she was united in marriage. She reared eight children. Six survive, as follows: Alice, Debora, Rachael, Paul, Emory and Elvin, all at home, together with the husband, the mother, and a brother, James Ford, of McKeesport and the following half- brothers, Homer Paul, Carl and Peter Lehman. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren of Roaring Spring and of the Ladies' Aid society of the church. The funeral was held yesterday morning with services in the Church of the Brethren at 10 o'clock in charge of the pastor, Rev. A. G. Crosswhite.
