PATRICK H. MASTERSON,

A well known Pittsburgh division engineman, died at his home, 1620 
Third avenue, at 12.30 o'clock yesterday afternoon of a complication of 
diseases.  He was born at Gallitzin, Oct. 12, 1857, the son of Thomas 
and Margaret Masterson, and entered the service of the Pennsylvania 
Railroad company at the age of 17, being in continuous service ever 
since.  He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Farrell) Masterson and 
the following children: Marie M. and Charles L., at home; Mrs. Alice M. 
Wise of this city and T. James Masterson of Pittsburgh.  One brother 
and one sister also survive, Thomas W. and Miss Mary, both of this 
city.  The funeral will be held from the late home at 10 o'clock to-
morrow morning, with solemn high mass in Sacred Heart church.  
Interment will be made in St. John's cemetery.
