The wife of Adam Mathews died at Duncansville on Thursday last of dropsy. For a time there were unpleasant rumors in regard to the lady's death, but these have been proven to be entirely without foundation. The funeral will take place to-day. The wife of Adam Mathews, a resident of Duncansville, died on Thursday morning and was buried in the Catholic graveyard at that place on Friday.
