Death of a Respected Lady
 
  It is with regret we chronicle the death of Mrs. Mary A. Mathias wife 
of John F. Mathias, deceased, which sad event occurred at the home of 
her sister, Mrs. W. W. Dallas, in Baltimore on December 28.  The 
deceased lady is well known in Tyrone having been a resident for a 
number of years.  Her father and husband were among the leading iron 
manufacturers of this section; the husband being for a number of years 
general manager of the Tyrone forges and Bald Eagle furnace.  She was a 
devoted Catholic and was aged about 70 years.
