MATLACK A car inspector for the P.R.R., of 1807 Fourth avenue, died at 5:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon after an extended illness. He was born at Duncannon, Perry county, on July 21, 1876, a son of Jacob and Clara (Shirk) Matlack. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Eva (Scott) Matlack; a daughter, Mrs. Alma Kaylor, Bellwood; two sons, Lt. J. S. (Babe) Matlack, United States navy in California; and P/O 2/c J. Harold Matlack, United States navy in Bremerton, Wash; five grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. D. B. Connors, Altoona; Mrs. John Black, Juniata and Mrs. Sara Cross, Altoona, and two brothers, James, New Millport, and Joseph, Altoona. Mr. Matlack was a Methodist by faith. Friends will be received at the Axe funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening. MATLACK - Funeral services for Cyrus A. Matlack of 1807 Fourth avenue, will be conducted tonight at 7:30 o'clock at the Axe funeral home in charge of Rev. E. Z. Utts. Continued services will be held tomorrow afternoon a 2 o'clock in the Methodist Church at New Millport. Interment in New Millport cemetery. Friends are being received at the Axe funeral home.
